I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I remember when she and your father got married - how happy they were!

The world will be a less colorful place without Aunt DeDe. She was a unique character with a good heart, a giving nature and an artistic touch. I remember her sewing coordinating outfits for Maureen and I when we were little and teaching us to embroider. She sent happy cards with bits of news while I was deployed far from home and interesting books with hand-painted bookmarks for my boys to enjoy. When we moved back to Ohio she came with a box of chicken and helped to unpack my kitchen. She stayed involved in our lives year after year even as we were on the move. I will miss her dearly.
