I first got to know Bob while camping as a teenager with the family in Sutton, WV. Bob quickly taught me two very important things in life: How to water ski and gig frogs. Though I had absolutely no idea how to do either, he taught me well. He showed a lot of patience too as teaching me to water ski was probably like trying to get a cinder block up behind his boat. But we tried and tried and finally I got it! Memories I won't forget.

Martha and I can't begin to express our feelings of loss of Uncle Bob. After 40+ years of hunting,(four different camps), fishing, (especially Lake Erie), camping and skiing and of course the one and only turtle truck. He always had his home with him. I have a huge amount of memories. Uncle Bob helped bring me up, then my brother Steve and then my son Brandon. He was our own version of Retch Sweeney from Outdoor Life Magazine. He could find refreshments in the woods when no one else could, and he could always, always make you laugh. There was nothing he couldn't do or fix. He will be forever in our heart and memories.
