Dave was a mentor, coach, teacher, and friend. He helped me through the toughest time of my wrestling career and I will never forget it. After high school he always was interested in what I was doing and didn’t mind if I just stopped by to say hello and visit.
I’ll miss his laugh and his sincerity; his wisdom, humility, and most of all his patience. The world was a better place with him in it, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
I know we’ll meet again, Coach!
