Obituary of Andjelija Segedy

Andjelija Segedy, 91 fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and was a nurse there before she came to the United States in 1970. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Andjelija was an avid reader and was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; daughter, Mira; brother, Aleksandar Jocic; and sister, Lepa Jocic. She is survived by her step-son, Jimmy Segedy; step-daughter, Laurie Greenwald and her Family; loving family, the Perovic Family; nephew, Rade Jocic and his family in Belgrade, Serbia; granddaughter, Crystal Cole; and great-granddaughter, Andjelea Cole. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Rev. Fr. George Mileusnich officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home where a Pomen service will be held at 7:30 p.m. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
