Obituary of Annabelle Clements

Annabelle Clements ended her journey here on earth on Monday, August 20, 2018.

She was born in Akron, OH on January 18, 1931 where she spent her first year. Her family then moved to Green OH where she remained most of her life.  She graduated from Greensburg High school then married her high school sweet heart Charles R Clements. Together they raised 8 children: Charles M. of Uniontown OH, Rodney A. of Oakland CA, Stephen L. of Canton OH, Christine Speelman of Phoenix AZ, Larry R. of Jackson OH, John C. of Simpsonville SC, Andrew J. of Tallmadge OH, and Anne Marie Stowe of Green OH.  She then attended University of Akron in education, which she receives a B.S. and M.S. She taught first grade at Nolley School in Manchester for 22 years. A longtime member of Queen of Heaven Church and was a bereavement minister for years. 

She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Annabelle was the oldest of three brothers, and she is survived by Robert of Green OH, Patrick of Norton OH, and David of Akron OH along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Charles R., parents Loyal R. and Anna Maria Bussey, infant brother Raymond, and son Charles M.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday August 22 at 6:00 PM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, were the family will receive friends and relatives for 1 hour prior, beginning at 5:00 PM. Private interment will be at a later date.
