Obituary of Sandra Sue McMahon
Sandra McMahon, 72, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 16, 2018
at Akron General Medical Center.
Sandra was born January 6, 1946 to Jack and Jennie (Kirek) Post in
Akron, lived in New York and returned to Akron in 2009 so she could be

closer to her grandchildren and family. She had a special place in her heart
for all animals and was an excellent cook to all the people and pets
throughout her life. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband
William McMahon and mother Jennie. She is survived by her son
Bradley Gross; grandchildren Ethan Gross and Amber Tidwell; father
Jack Post; siblings Steven (Pam) Post and Ginger (Dave) Heuker, and
countless Loyal Friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM
at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main
St. Akron OH 44301 where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of
services. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Summit County Humane Society, 7996 Darrow Rd,
Twinsburg, OH 44087.
