Obituary of Brandon Ray Johnson

 Brandon Ray Johnson, 34 passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.

 Brandon was born in Akron. Brandon served in the U.S. Marine Corps. for eight years. He received a Presidential Unit Citation for his service during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, a Korean defense service medal, deployment ribbons and many other  commendations. After leaving the Marine Corps. he was employed by KBR Wyle as a contractor in Kuwait for a year-and-a-half. The family is fortunate that we had Brandon home with us for the last six months of his life. His wonderful sense of humor, kindness and generous disposition will forever be in our hearts.

 He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Johnson; and uncle, David Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Mary and Robert; grandfather, John Richards; wife, April of Hawaii; daughter, Raven; son, Noah; sisters, Maeve and Erica; and cherished aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.

 A Memorial service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Fr. Matthew Pfeiffer officiating. Interment with military honors immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron, Ohio. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
