Obituary of William Henry Griffin

GREEN - William H. Griffin, 55, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Aultman Compassionate Care. William was born May 14, 1962 to C. William and Eva Marie (Bish) Griffin in Butler, PA and had been an area resident since 1984. He received his BS in Management Engineering from Grove City College in 1984 and his MBA from Case-Western University in 1999. He was employed by Timken and Timken Steel for over 32 years retiring in 2018. He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in North Canton. He enjoyed collecting stamps, coins and model trains. He was a pickleball and music enthusiast. William is survived by his wife of 29 years, Michele (Peckman); daughters Ashley Marie and Lauren Elizabeth Griffin; sister Elaine (Michael) Michael; step mother-in-law Carol (Phil) Pettina; sister-in-law Kristine (Lester) Kincaid; brother-in-law William (Sherri) Peckman and nieces and nephews Nathan, Andrew, Kaylee, Rachel, Sarah, Hayden and Anna Lee. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law William and Susan Peckman. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Rd. Uniontown OH 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off Steese Rd.). Funeral services will be held Friday May 4, 2018 at 11:00am at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 237 W. Maple St, North Canton, OH 44720, where a luncheon will be served following the service. Private interment East Liberty Cemetery in Green.
