Obituary of Julia A. Semon

Julia A. Semon passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, just two weeks shy of her 104th birthday. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Helen Semon, two brothers and four sisters. She will be greatly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews. They will always remember her memory for yearly gifts of books & puzzles at Christmas time, and their trips to Chippewa Lake Park. They will all surely miss her sheet apple pie, which no one has been able to recreate. Julia was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed her many years with TOPS. The family is grateful to all the nurses and staff at Pebble Creek and cannot thank them enough for their compassionate care of Julia. God bless all of you. Funeral services will be celebrated at 2:00PM on Monday, April 2 at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St. in Akron, where friends and family may call for one hour prior, beginning at 1PM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
