William Morris

Obituary of William Kenneth Morris

William (Bill) K. Morris, 66, went fishing with Jesus in the great pond beyond on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Though he ultimately succumbed to complications of liver disease, Bill fought valiantly to stay alive to be with his sweetheart Pam. In addition to his wife Pam, he is survived by their two children, Rachel Basham-Spiteri & Dawn (Brian) Dausman; his grandchildren Haley & Mitchell Spiteri, and Amelia, Tallulah & Jesse Dausman; his loving sister Bonnie Taylor; nieces Becky (Justin) Steele and Angie Love and their families; and other caring relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley & Juanita Morris, and his brother, Robert. Bill was born on June 28, 1951 in Wooster, Ohio. He graduated from Norton High School in 1969. He was a loyal employee of Swagelok for 40 years until retiring in 2015. Bill and Pam were married in the Outer Banks, NC, and enjoyed 30 years of memorable vacations there. He loved fishing and treasure hunting on the beach. He was the best "uber" driver for Pam, and her sister Bunny and brother-in-law Bob Balogh, for many one-tank adventures. He will be greatly missed. The family is grateful to their relatives and friends for their generous support and prayers during his long and difficult journey. Calling hours will be from 4:30-6:00 PM Friday, March 9th at the at the Anthony Funeral Homes, McGowan-Reid and Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail). Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00PM, Pastor Rick Frecka officiating. Per his wishes, Bill will be cremated, and will take one final trip to his favorite fishing spot, Jennette's Fishing Pier, in Nags Head, NC. (Cuyahoga Falls, 330-929-1313, anthonyfh.com)
