Obituary of Beatrice Ann Fonte

Beatrice 'Bea' Ann Fonte, 53, passed away Friday, February 02, 2018. Born June 8, 1964 in Akron to the late Robert & Betty (Moneypenny) Oettinger, Bea was a life-long area resident. She married John Fonte in 1986 and was a devoted wife & mother. She had a way with animals—dogs, deer, ducks and everything in between. In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Hazel Miller. She is survived by her husband of 31 years John; sons John (Elizabeth Edwards) & Michael; siblings Joseph (Nancy) Oettinger, Lynn Rodgers (John Roysdon); Robert (Tracy) Oettinger, Susan (Rodger) Hughes, Jennifer (Chad) Sonnhalter and Mary (Chad) Lance; sister-in-law Rebecca Fonte; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday, February 6 at 7:30PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St in Akron, where the family will receive friends beginning at 5PM until the time of the service. Interment at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens will be held at a later date.
