Obituary of Maryann Katherine Gasper

Wadsworth - Maryann Gasper, 85, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Akron City Hospital. She was born July 14, 1932 to William and Mary (Soloninka) Zidick in Newcastle, PA and had been an Akron, Green, Naples, FL and Wadsworth resident. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Maryann is survived by her children John (Rochelle) Gasper, Kathleen (David) Durst and Michael (Donna) Gasper; grandchildren Ashley and C.J. Gasper, Sarah (Matthew) Hentemann, Matthew (Janelle) and Michael Durst and Keira Gasper; great granddaughter Sophia Hentemann. She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Gasper and 2nd husband Nicola Emanuele and siblings Nancy Baltic, Clement Zidick, Eleanor Kovac and Patricia Ward. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH 44301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
