Obituary of Kenneth Henry Tillman

"Together Again"

Kenneth H. Tillman, Sr., 98, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 in Green.

He was born in The Bronx, NY to the late Julius & Ella Tillman. He attended Colgate College and was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity until he left to join the war effort where he served in the Army Aircorp in Europe during WWll. He married Mary Bednar in 1946 and they moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 1951. He retired from Hallmark Cards in 1982 after 36 years as a salesman. He spent 15 years living in Trinity, Fl before moving back to Ohio. He loved golfing and had two hole-in-ones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary; son John A. Tillman; and sister Doris Morese. He is survived by his son Kenneth Jr. (June); and grandchildren Brandon (Ashleigh Rider) Tillman and Katie Tillman.

The family is grateful to the staff at GreenView Senior Assisted Living for the hospitality shown to Ken over the past six years.
