Obituary of Thomas Herschel Marchion

Doylestown - Thomas H. Marchion, 62, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born May 12, 1955 to Joseph and Barbara (Burton) Marchion in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was self employed as a service technician to restaurants. He was a member of Crossroad Community Church of Doylestown. Tom also had a great love of the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Tom is survived by his wife of 34 years Darlene (Redd); children Jeremy Marchion, Audrey Marchion and Joanna (Bryan) Westbrook; grandchildren Jada Id-Deen, Brooklynn Westbrook, William Young and Bria Westbrook; siblings Sharon (Terry) Hudnall, Jeff (Julie) Marchion, Janice (Dave) Calcei, and Greg (Bev) Marchion; sister-in-law Patty Marchion; brother-in-law Ron Redd; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and his many friends at Restuarant Developers Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph and sister-in-law Robin Bohaychyk. The family will receive friends Thursday 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH 44301 where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am.
