Obituary of Bessie Alexandrovich

Bessie Alexandrovich, 105, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Akron General Hospice Care Center. Bessie was born on May 9, 1912, in Prilep, Macedonia, and came to the United States In 1927. Bessie was a homemaker who loved to sew, cook and take care of her family. She also had a love for business. Once her children achieved their goals she and her husband Taso went into the restaurant/bar business which they operated for 32 years. She enjoyed meeting people. She continued working retiring at the age of 80. Bessie was preceded in death by her father Pete Thomas, mother Yonka Thomas, husband Taso Alexandrovich, daughter Vivian Beachy, uncle Vele Christoff and sister Nada Peshoff Bessie is survived by her son Archie Alexander (with Natalie), grandsons Thomas Alexander, Mark Beachy (Andrea), great grandson David Beachy (Amy); granddaughters, Karin Gibson (Cort), Valerie Smith (Tom) and Stephanie Raleigh (John); great granddaughters Daryn Anne and Maia Raleigh, Ashley, Nicole, and Lauren Beachy. Great great granddaughter Allison Beachy, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron OH 44301. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00am at St. Elia the Prophet Orthodox Church. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery.
