Obituary of William John Fearigo

William John Fearigo, 93, passed away Monday January 1, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Ware, MA he was the son of the late William and Ellen (Quirk) Fearigo. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. William was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Barbara; sister Almira Aguda; brother Robert Fearigo; and daughter-in-law Joy Fearigo. He is survived by sons William Fearigo, Jr. and Mark Fearigo; grandchildren Miranda and Andrew Fearigo; sister-in-law Mary Hartwigson; nieces Leanne Stone, Kathleen Nagle and Patrice Aguda-Brown; and nephews Michael, Daniel, Timothy, and Tony Aguda. John was a World War II veteran who proudly served in the Army from 1943 to 1946. He was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. for over 30 years retiring in 1991. He and Barbara moved from Hartville, OH to Lady Lake, FL to enjoy retirement and peruse his passion for golf. He was an avid sports fan, lifetime Boston Red Sox fan and enjoy all things Boston. He was a member of St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church in Lady Lake, FL. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road Uniontown OH 44685 where the family will greet friends prior to services. Private interment will take place at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Honor Flight Network. (Anthony, GREEN)
