Dennis came to work for me out of Michigan State. He was supposed to go out on a date with my niece Candy. He was sitting in my office with his arms around his legs and said “Dr Green, I can’t go on that date with your niece tonight. I have to work on my car to take it to Michigan.” I acted like I was really upset and told him he couldn’t do that to her. He grimaced and said ok he’d go. Dennis said Candy came to the door and took his coat and hat. She turned then reached up on the shelve to put his hat away. He said when he saw her long beautiful legs he fell in love with her.
We were playing golf one day and Dennis was really hitting his drives well. I asked him what he was thinking about. He said “I don’t know. Nothing really” After that he couldn’t hit it. I just laughed the rest of the round. He was a great Dr , partner and fun person to be around. He brought me a great picture for my 100th birthday of the original metro hospital. He always made me laugh. We will all miss him.

We are truly sorry - more than words can ever say- for the loss of Dennis or Denni as my dad used to call him. I asked my dad why he called him “ Denni” and he said because he was one of a kind.
Everyone in the family sends their love and we are all thinking about you and Brent. He will truly be missed by all.

Candy, we were so devastated to hear the news yesterday.
We have been reminiscing about the times on the ski slopes and your boat back in the day.
There were so many good times on the slopes in New York and especially the one time where we all were ahead of Tom around a bend and Denny let out a big Oh No. Slope was straight down and a mogul field.
The times we enjoyed on the boat with Casper keeping a watchful on us all.
We can't imagine your emotional time now but know that Tom & I are praying for your strength and peace for you and all your family.
My God be with all of you.

I worked for Dr. Boelter for 14 years, and he was the best and most compassionate person I have ever known. He always treated everyone the way he would want to be treated. My heart hurts for your precious family, the world is a sadder place without you. I will always remember you in my heart.

Candy and family, we are so deeply sorry for your tragic loss. Dr. Boelter meant a great deal to our family, first for saving our first puppy who came to us with Parvo way back in 1987, and over the many years since then as not only our trusted and caring veterinarian, but he came to also be a wonderful friend. We are so saddened by his passing. We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.
