Obituary of Joseph Phillip Marchion

Joseph P. Marchion, 63, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 25, 2017 at Akron City Hospital. Joseph was born April 24, 1954 to Joseph and Barbara (Burton) Marchion in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was the owner of Hartville Café for the last 15 years and was previously a supervisor for McDonald Restaurants for 30 years. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Joseph is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Morris); children Krystal (Christopher) Bader and Joseph (Tricia) Marchion; grandchildren Alyvia, Abigail and Joseph Marchion; siblings Tom (Darlene), Marchion, Sharon (Terry) Hudnall, Jeff (Julie) Marchion, Janice (Dave) Calcei and Greg (Bev) Marchion; and sister-in-law Becky (Ron) McCarney. The family will receive friends Thursday 6 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd., Uniontown OH 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off of Steese Rd.). A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Road., Akron, OH 44319.
