Aunt Mary will be missed by my family. The last time we all visited her was in 2012.
She was in good spirits. I wanted my sons to hear some family history and Aunt Mary
had a good memory. I asked her to tell us about growing up on Loomis Ave. She talked about Deedee & Baba and what they did way back then. She also talked about living in Orlando while Uncle Steve was in the air-force during WWII. I was surprised and
and asked her if she remembered where they lived. 'By a lake near downtown' she said 'there were lots of lakes in that area'. Now when I drive downtown and take a short cut
through an old neighborhood and come across a small lake I think of Aunt Mary.
