Obituary of Olga Theresa Mosyjowski

We give thanks to our most merciful God for the fruitful and faithful life of Olga Theresa Mosyjowski, who passed to eternal life on November 21, 2017, the feast of the Entrance of the Mother of God (Presentation of Mary) into the Temple. Born on January 22, 1918 in Falls Creek, PA, she was preceded in death by her parents Eva and Nikolas Komarnitzky, sisters Ann and Vera, brothers Mike, Theodore, Alex, husband Michael and son Paul, daughter-in-law Marilyn and nephew Steven. She is survived by daughter Mary Ann, sons Michael, Joseph (Kimberly), Stephen (Karen), grandchildren Alex (Megan), Adam, and Aaron, Erika, Nikolas, and Joan, sister Mary Hittie and brother John (Jann) Komarnitzky, sisters in law Mary Gatti and Bernice Mosyjowski, and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Mary Ladies Sodality. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron OH 44301, where a Parastas service will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30am at the funeral home followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1866 Brown St., Akron OH 44301. Interment St. Michael Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Holy Ghost Catholic Church or the Ukrainian Catholic Seminary Endowment Fund or your favorite charity. (Anthony, AKRON)
