Obituary of Charlotte Priscilla Giannone

Charlotte P. “Peaches” Giannone, 86 passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania and retired from the Hamlin Steel Company. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a life member of  Firestone VFW Post 3383 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr.; daughter, Mary Louise; son, Timothy James; and daughter-in-law, Nellie. She is survived by sons, Robert, Jr. and Mike (Jean); grandchildren, Erin (Chris Baumgardner) Bidwell-Giannone, James Bidwell-Giannone and Jeffrey Giannone; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made in her name to the Firestone VFW Post 3383 or Ladies Auxiliary 3383, 690 W. Waterloo Rd.
