Obituary of Una F. Green
Una F. Green, 90 passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
She was born in Luke, Maryland, lived in Barberton, Ohio and retired from the Green Local School System in Green, Ohio. She was a member of River of Life Assembly of God Church for 39 years and was a pre-school worker for the Church of Christ.
Una was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Alice Dawson; husband, Edward; and sisters, Eva Bailey, Anna Jane Crites, Roxena Wyer, Ruth Szymanik and Mary Kimble. She is survived by step-son, Arthur (Norma) Herrera; sister, Shirley Padgett; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where a Prayer Service will be held at 5 p.m. Pastor Diane Richmond officiating. Further Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, 85 S. Main St. Keyser, West Virginia 26726 where a Prayer Service will be held at 3 p.m. Interment immediately following at Meadow Point Cemetery in Keyser, West Virginia.
