Obituary of Karl James Nash

-CUYAHOGA FALLS
Karl James Nash, 71, passed way unexpectedly at the golf course after participating in the Aurora Fire Department Local 99 Charity Golf Outing on September 18, 2017. He was born on August 16, 1946 to the late Kenneth & Dorothy Nash. Karl was a graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School and a Cuyahoga Falls resident for over 45 years. He retired from Saint-Gobain Co. (formerly US Norton) after 37 years of service. He served his country as a member of the US Army in Turkey during the Vietnam Era. Karl was an avid golfer and bowler and was secretary of his bowling league at Kent Lanes for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed traveling with his family. Karl will always be remembered for being kind, loving, generous, & honest.
In addition to his parents, Karl was preceded in death by his brother Wesley & brother-in-law Robert Hackney. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Susan; his daughters Kelly Lynn & Kristine Marie Nash; beloved granddaughter and the light of his life Lauren J.M. Nash-Caldwell; brother Harold (Pat) Nash & sister Dawn Hackney, as well as numerous and loving nieces, nephews, & cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Jimmy & Nadia.
