Robert Mee

Obituary of Robert Bruce Mee

Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep.  He was in the place he loved and with the people who he loved most.  He had fought a hard battle against cancer.  Bob was a tireless spark, that will never fade.  He was a kind loving soul, who often put other’s needs above his own.  Bob lived life to the fullest.  Every day with him was an adventure. He was best known for his big hugs, beautiful smile and his zest for life.  The things he loved the most were his family, friends and his community.  He was a passionate Cleveland Cavalier and Tribe fan. Bob was a proud member of the Cuyahoga Falls High School Class of 1987. Bob served in the United States Army.  He was employed by Georgia Pacific and a former Cast Member of the Summit Mall Disney Store.

Bob was preceded in death by his hero, his father, Jerome T. Mee.  He is survived by his world, his wife of 22 years, Jo Anna; and his sons, Bobby and Andy.  He is also survived by his mother, Eleanor Hasbrook of Houston, Texas;  sisters, Michelle Heigelmann Mee of Houston Texas and  Allysonn (John) Rennie of Leesburg Virginia; brother, Jerome Mee of Houston, Texas; his father and mother- in-law, Bill and Fran Haid of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; brother- in-law, Bill (Kristin) Haid of Hudson, Ohio;  nephews, Jeremiah Mee, Colin Mee and Brendan Haid; and niece, Allison Haid. He was loved by so many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed by his two fluff chicks and his kitty, Lola, Darla and JoJo.

The family will receive friends Saturday, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
