-CUYAHOGA FALLS Lorine Rupnow (Mamaw), 79, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017. Born in Trosper, KY on Feb. 10, 1938, she was the third of ten children, all of whom she loved dearly. Lorine has worked many jobs in her life and has made many friends with which she is still close to to this day. Lorine had many hobbies which included gardening, fishing, bowling, golfing, reading, & carpentry, but most of all she loved being an awesome wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt neighbor, and friend to all she met. Lorine was the rock and matriarch of her family. She was younger than her years and left a mark on everyone she met. Lorine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl F. Rupnow (Papaw). She is survived by her daughter Kimberley (Bill) Julier and their children Jackie & Johnny all of Florida; son Carl F. (Beth) Rupnow and their children Kevin & Kaley, all of Georgia; Sandra (Mark) Hornak and their children Evan, Taylor, and Marky, all of Akron; siblings Phyllis, Gerald, Ida, Polly, Arlene, & Bonnie. Lorine had many family and friends who preceded her in death and undoubtedly were waiting to greet her with open arms at those pearly gates. A special thank you to the staff at Maplewood Senior living for their outstanding care and to Harbor Light Hospice for keeping mom comfortable during her last days. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos chapel 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St, one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls.
