Obituary of Michael Stovic

Michael Stovic, 86, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Altercare of Hartville. Michael was born August 10, 1930 in Mt. Jewett, PA and grew up Bitola, Macedonia. He returned to the United States in 1951 living in Kane, PA and had been a Uniontown, OH resident since 1995. He was employed by CSX Railroad for 42 years retiring in 1995. Michael was a member of St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church. Michael is survived by his wife Gorica (Jovanoska); children Lillian (Don) Vardon and Dimitri Stovic; granddaughter Alexandria Vardon; brother Chris (Nancy) Stovic and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Konstandinka Stojceva. The family will receive friends Sunday 5 to 7 PM at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (Corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green. Entrance on Steese Road). Funeral services will begin Monday 10:00 AM at the funeral home and continue at 10:30 AM at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5305 Massillon Rd. North Canton, OH 44720. Interment Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Donation may be made to St. Nikola Church.
