Obituary of Jeffery Wetshtein

Jeffery Wetshtein, 61, of Rittman, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 after a lengthy battle with multiple system atrophy.

He was born in Akron, Ohio and attended Norton City Schools. He was a graduate of Kent State University. Jeff was most recently employed by Discount Drug Mart, retiring after 14 years of service. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and the St. Nicholas RBO. Jeff was a faithful man and a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He handled his debilitating illness with humor, grace and dignity. His love for NASCAR was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. His children were the joys of his life, and he never missed a chance to support them in their activities.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Wetshtein. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marcia (Kosuth); children, Andrew (Andrea), Jessica and Allison (fiancé, Matt Abel); father, Fred (Marlene); sisters, Carol Kovacs & Family, Jennifer Wetshtein & Family, and Cindy Brockman & Family; and brother-in-law, Mike Kosuth & Family.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave. Mogadore, Ohio 44260 where he will lie in state one hour prior to service.
