Obituary of Robert L. Cores

Robert L. Cores, born September 1, 1934 passed away May 6, 2017 surrounded by those who loved him listening to his favorite songs by the Carter Family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Fleck; brothers, Henry and Elmer, Jr.; and sister, Carole. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda; daughters, Linda (Bill) Kotrick, Sandy Cores, Nancy Broughton, Mary (Dana) Dodd and Dawn (Michael) Hoff; brothers, Bruce (Sharon) Fleck and Robert Fleck; sister, Jeanne (Fred) Foust; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to give special thanks to caregiver Barbara Wilmoth who took wonderful care of him. Also, Summa Hospice and Nurses Renee, Annie, Ebony and Jessica. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, 3 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. Uniontown, Ohio 44685 where the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Pastor Terry Baker officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Akron. (City of Green Chapel)
