Charles Novak (Cymbor)

Obituary of Charles Joseph (CJ) Novak (Cymbor)

While he fought the good fight, our beloved son and brother, CJ lost his battle to addiction on April 17, 2017 and was received into the hands of his loving Lord and Savior. Our hearts are broken by this tragedy. We will remember him always for his love of family, wonderful smile, kind and sensitive heart and generous spirit. CJ was the person that stopped countless times to help those he knew and perfect strangers without expecting anything in return. He was fulfilled by simply helping others and his spiritual connection to the Lord. His presence alone filled the room with joy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ida and Joe and Mary and Art. He leaves to mourn his loving mother, Susan; sister, Candice (Nick); nephew, Mason; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We can only hope and pray that our tragedy will bring awareness of the need to fight this crisis so that other families do not suffer such a horrible loss. The family will receive friends Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where a Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Private interment will take place. (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, Akron)
