Obituary of Kenneth Norman Tifft

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Kenneth Norman Tifft, 72, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife on March 13, 2017. Born in Akron on July 3, 1944 to the late Howard & Thelma Tifft, Ken was a lifetime Falls resident and a 1962 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, working as a communications specialist in Eritrea Africa. Ken retired from Ohio Bell after 33 years of service. He enjoyed reading (especially biographies), auto & motorcycle shows, traveling the New England states, & he had a soft heart for animals, occasionally bringing home a stray dog and giving it a lifetime of love. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sally; his children Kevin Tifft & Nicole Loosli; grandson Reade; sister Judith (Richard) Reed. Per his wishes, Ken will be cremated and his family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls.
