Obituary of Barbara Ann Dorrler

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Barbara Ann Dorrler, 72, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017 at the Gardens of Western Reserve. Born in New York City on April 16, 1944, Barbara grew up in New York where she worked as a Pediatric Registered Nurse. She spent most of her life in Flemington, New Jersey with her former husband where they raised five children. Barbara moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 2009. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering and spent many hours working with Meals on Wheels and Anita's Angels. Barbara enjoyed gardening, taking walks, and reading. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Jim & Helen Hardiman and granddaughter Theresa Kiley. She is survived by her children Terrie (Chuck) Kiley, Mark (Jill) Dorrler, Jennifer (Kevin) Flannery, Bill (Denise) Dorrler, & Scott (Mary) Dorrler; former husband Steve Dorrler; 18 grandchildren, whom Barbara loved dearly; brothers Stephen & John (Debbie) Hardiman, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. A special thanks to all who have cared for Barbara during her journey with Alzheimers and to the Alzheimer's Foundation for their support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Singler on Saturday, February 25, at 12:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the Mass.
