Obituary of Donald William Knee

Donald W. Knee, 76, received his wings Sunday, January 8, 2017 on the Epiphany of the Lord. He suffered Pulmonary Fibrosis over 10 years. Donald was born September 19, 1940 in Altoona, PA to the late Lyola and Jim Knee. He was employed by Goodyear Aerospace for over 40 years and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Don was preceded in death by his infant son Gerard Michael and son-in-law Haydn Thomas. He is survived by his wife Pauline; daughters Coleen (Steve) Graham, Sherry Pappas, Susan Seibel and Donna Thomas; brother Jim (Rose) Knee; sister Faye Brown; 17 grandchildren including Kristopher who was like the son he never had; and 19 great grandchildren. The family is grateful to Harbor Light Hospice, they were wonderful to Don and Pauline. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis de Sales and interment took place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
