Richard Dale Edsall May 12, 1950 December 28, 2016 Rick was born in and spent most of his life in Green. He made many 40 plus year friendships with people that loved him and vice versa. His favorite things were parties, friends, concerts, sports and most important, pie. Rick worked for a short time at the Akron Workhouse and moved on to trucking companies PIE and CF. He was a Teamster Local 24 member and union steward, retiring in 2002. Rick loved teaching and coaching his sons' baseball teams. He moved on the umpiring with Summit Umpire Assoc. and put his big mouth to good use. He was honored to go to Ft. Meyers, FL to umpire Roy Hobbs championship week. Zips men's basketball was a passion of his. Zippy learned not to stand in front of him. His sense of humor is legendary and his laughter contagious. He had a story about everything.
