Obituary of Fred Tisch

-CUYAHGOGA FALLS Frederick Lee Tisch, 81, passed away on December 13, 2015. Fred was born in Akron to John & Esther Tisch on September 4, 1934. He worked for B&O Railroad and the Veterans Administration, retiring in 1996. Fred was an avid golfer and bowler and was a devoted caretaker of his wife Lynda for many years. He attended the Chapel and was a proud Air Force veteran. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his brothers Jim, Buddy, Tom, and Don. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Lynda; sons Marc & Michael (Sinda); daughter Michele Koepnick; grandchildren Matthew Tisch, Joshua & Travis Koepnick, and Nolan & Landon Tisch; great-grandchildren Liam & Lowen; sisters-in-law Sylvia & Nelda Tisch, and Sharon Payne, along with numerous nieces & nephews. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, 6:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third Street, one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
