Obituary of Carolyn Jean Yerkey

WADSWORTH - Carolyn J. Yerkey, 68, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Select Specialty. Carolyn was born February 25, 1947 to William and Wanda (Barker) Plum in Webster Springs, W VA. She had been a manager for Charter One Bank for 16 years and was a member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church. Carolyn was a wonderful wife and mother and adored her grandchildren. She was a good friend to many and would do anything for anyone. Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, John; children John (Sheila) and Kevin Yerkey, Dawn (Greg) Perkins and Erin Markley; grandchildren Annalynn, Andrew, Aaron, Christopher, Katelyn, Kyle and Owen Yerkey, Justine Clark, Kennedy and Reagan Perkins and Dylan and Chase Markley; great granddaughter Lily Yerkey; siblings Gail (Peggy) Plum, Cheryl (John) Liller and Brian (Zondra) Plum. The family will receive friends TODAY 3 to 6 pm at Firestone Park United Methodist Church, 250 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron OH 44301. Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 am at the church, Rev.
