Obituary of Wanda Hydock
Wanda Hydock, 89, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015.
She was born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania and was a homemaker. She came to Akron in 2010 and had currently been a resident at Altercare of Hartville since January 2015. A very special thanks to the staff at Altercare for all of their care.
Wanda was a member of St. Faustina Kowalska (formerly Holy Trinity) Roman Catholic Parish in Nanticoke. She was a memorable lady that only needed to meet a person once in order to leave a lasting impression. Along with telling silly stories and "dirty" jokes, she loved her puzzle books, hot dogs, bacon, life savers, donuts, and coffee. She always enjoyed watching sports on television or watching the "kids" play. She was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; daughter, Patricia Sedorovich; parents, Michael and Bertha (Hoscheski) Bezdziecki; and 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her granddaughter and grandson, Ashley and Jeff Sedorovich; son, Walt and devoted friend and wife of Walt, Cel Sedorovich; her 6 “grandbabies”, Aurora, Corona, Hadley, Cirrus, Cyclone, and Bernie; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends, the Owens Family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Further services will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
