Obituary of Janet Le Gruska

Janet Gruska, 81, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 in the Palliative Care Unit of Summa. Janet was born May 18, 1934 to Leroy and Helen (Quirk) Worley in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was a graduate of St. Vincent High School. Janet was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul Ladies Guild and Theta Phi Alpha Sorority. She was a wonderful wife to her husband of 62 years Jack and loving mother to Mary (Hank) Bereider, Edward J. (Jennie) Gruska, Patricia (Craig) Sutphin, Bobby (Ann) Gruska and Barbara (Mike) Labut. She loved her grandchildren Melissa (Kevin) McGlone, Jason Bereider, Kelly (Ken) Gruska-Hoyt, Christopher (Nicol) and Nicholas Gruska, Brian (Crystal) Sutphin, Amanda (Bobby) Murray, Lauren and Steven Gruska and Madison and Megan Labut and great grandmother to Aubree, Brock and Cole McGlone, Anna, Christopher, Jax, JJ, and Emma Gruska, Ella and Harrison Sutphin and Grayson Murray. She was preceded in death by her grandson Alex Labut, great grandson Roy Jacob McGlone and sister Helen Rose Davis. The family will receive friends TODAY 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron OH 44301. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
