Obituary of Larry Dale Cass

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Larry Cass, 76, peacefully passed away on September 28, 2015 with his family and friends by his side. He is now with his Lord and Savior, reunited with his sons Mark & John, and granddaughter Angel, who preceded him in death. Larry joined the Merchant Marines at a young age and then was employed by Akron Packaging Machinery (Geo. J. Meyer), retiring with 35 years of service. He had also worked as a courtesy driver for Thomas Chrysler and truly enjoyed meeting with people and talking to everyone. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls/Akron Elks Lodge #1923, Ackermoore VFW/American Legion Post in Stow, and the Cuyahoga Falls Eagles. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marlene; sons Russ Cass of Germany and Todd Cass of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter Dianne Cass of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren David, Joshua (Jessie), Tarra (Steven), Danielle, Dan, Jonathon, Nathan, Dakota, Savanna, Stephen, Haley, Ian, Vance, and11 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Gary Berg of Cuyahoga Falls, special aunt Thelma Williams of Cuyahoga Falls, as well as his beloved cats. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 5-8 pm, and Friday, 10-11 am, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave, (at Third Street, one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Dan Page on Friday at 11:00 am.
