Obituary of Tanner Jacob House

Tanner Jacob House, 27, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Akron General Hospital. Tanner was born in Wadsworth on July 3, 1988 to Bret & Judy. He grew up in Creston and graduated from Ellet High School in '06. Tanner married Claire Connolly in 2012, and was a fabulous family-man—a devoted & loving husband to Claire and father to his two children. He worked for Service Iron and Steel. Tanner knew no strangers; he could be counted on by anyone who needed a friend. He was an avid gamer and sports fan, and he loved the Browns. Tanner is survived by his loving wife, Claire; children Kaylee Brooke & Tanner Jacob, Jr.; parents Judy & Albert McClellan, Jr. and Bret & Tammy House; brothers Justin (Amanda) and Nicholas House; grandmothers Eileen Smith & Betty House; as well as an extensive network of wonderful family & friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers William Smith and Larry House. The family will receive friends & relatives TOMORROW, Monday, September 21 from 4-6 PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral services will begin immediately following at 6:00 PM.
