Obituary of Louie Dominic Antognoli

Louie Antognoli, 89, passed away after a brief illness on September 17, 2015. Born in Cuyahoga Falls on March 7, 1926 to the late Girolamo & Ulderica Antognoli, Louie grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and was a 1944 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He was a longtime member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Akron. He retired from the Independent Drug Co. and continued to work for the Stow City Schools, retiring in 1991. Louie was an avid golfer & bowler and enjoyed walking in the woods. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 66 years, Mary 'Tee' Antognoli; his beloved daughter Lisa (Jim) Weiser of Canal Fulton; granddaughters Noelle & Hope Weiser; brothers Benito (Geri) & Angelo Antognoli; sisters Joanne Antognoli & Edith (Howard) Conway, as well as many nieces & nephews. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, 12:00 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave (at Third Street, one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International Institute of Akron 207 E Tallmadge Ave, Akron, OH 44310.
