Obituary of Donna Wolosinczuk

Donna Wolosinczuk, 92, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Mom was born January 6, 1923 in the Ukraine and came to the United States in 1950. She was a member of Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church. Mom was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, John and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Walter and Mary of Akron; son Steve (Saundra) of Akron; daughter Luba (Al) of Akron; grandson John Anthony Wolosinczuk; one sister, nieces and nephews in the Ukraine. God was first to Mom, then family. She was a special and selfless lady who always put others before herself. She never wanted to bother anybody. She had a special bond with her grandson John. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening especially her geraniums and roses. Thank you to all of Mom's doctors and staff for taking care of her like she was family. Time passes but memories are forever. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron 44301 and 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1866 Brown St. Akron, Ohio 44301 with Father Vsevolod Shevchuk officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 3 to 7 pm at the funeral home where a Parastas Service will be held at 6:30 pm.
