Obituary of Robert Emmett Reedy

Robert Emmett Reedy, 66, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Akron on July 6, 1949 to the late Lloyd & Edith Reedy, and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Coventry High School in 1967, and married Virginia Bokman in 1977, his beloved wife 'Ginny' of 38 years. Bob was an avid hunter and had a passion for the outdoors. He worked for Cargill Salt Co. for 35 years until his retirement in 2014 due to his diagnosis with cancer. During Bob's illness, there were many people that came forward to make the things a little easier. The family is especially grateful to his brothers Rick & Jim for helping to install the banisters; friends Terry & son Russell, and Uncle Artie for their help with moving things around the house & for being there during the tough times. Special thanks to Grace Hospice—all the nurses & also nurses' aide Nikki for all your compassionate care of Bob. And finally, to Dr. Kenneth Braman, thank you for making a good old fashioned house call for Bob.
