Obituary of Wayne Michael Davis

GREEN Wayne M. Davis, 60, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sept 4, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Jacqueline Davis. Wayne was a life-long resident of Green Ohio. He was known throughout the community for his warm smile, and the friendly encouragement he shared with everyone he met. Wayne was a thoughtful, kind, gentle and caring person. He loved music and had a dream of producing a movie that he worked on for many years. Wayne leaves behind his brothers, Daniel (Dianna) of Akron, and Jeffrey of Suffield; his sister, Melody (Frederick) Doering; 4 nieces and 3 nephews who he loved spending time with; 9 great nieces and great nephews; his special friend Janet and his many other friends. The family would like to thank the caring and loving staff and residents at Pebble Creek; and Akron City Palliative Care Ward. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 5-8 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home GREEN CHAPEL, 4178 Massillon Rd. in Green, and again on Wednesday at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral at 11:00 am.
