Obituary of Barbara Ann Lutey

Barbara Ann Lutey, 73, who enjoyed cruises and playing the slots has now hit the jackpot and found her paradise. Barbara went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 31, 2015. She was born in Akron on June 19, 1942 and was the heart of her family, always hosting Sunday dinners. Early on, Barb worked at the family business, Isaly’s on Pioneer Street, and retired from the United States Postal Service in 2013. She was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Moose Lodge and was an excellent cook and baker. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis J. and Helen (Horvath) Fabian; brother, Dennis D. Fabian; and great-granddaughter, Aubree. Barb is survived by her children, Jeff, Jill (Robert), Michele (Daniel), Shawn and Stephanie (David); grandchildren, Allen (Felicia), Nick, Justin, Samantha (Andy), Robert, Nathan, Emma and Eli; great-grandchildren, Devin and Liam; former husband and good friend, Dennis; and will be deeply missed by many other relatives and friends of whom she truly loved. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Life Spring Christian Church, 1828 Marigold Ave, Akron, Ohio 44301 with Pastor Terry Baker officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
