Obituary of Helen Irene Kotter

Helen Irene Kotter nee Repasky, 87, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at Pebble Creek Convalescent Center. Helen was born on March 25, 1928 in Akron to the late John and Nellie Repasky, and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and was active in many church activities, including pierogi making, the church festivals, and working events at the hall. Helen worked as a receptionist for Dr. John Repasky for many years. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Emil; brothers Dr. William, John, & Dr. Joseph Repasky; and niece Christine Repasky. She is survived by sisters-in-law Luba Repasky & Shirley Passino; nieces and nephews William, Cynthia, Deborah & John Repasky; god-children Michael Petrochuk & Regina Demarse; and special friend Elaine Ramnytz. Thank you to the staff at Pebble Creek for their compassionate care of Helen for so many years. Family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday 9-11AM as St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave, Mogadore, 44260. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, at the church, immediately following calling hours. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery.
