Obituary of Rose Steurer

Rose (Musleve) Steurer, 93, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the VNS Hospice Care Center. Rose was born April 17, 1922 to Sidor and Alexandra (Basaliga) Musleve in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She had been employed by the University of Akron. Rose is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry; brother Robert Musleve and 21 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Jolly, Anna Kostesky, John Musleve, Joanne Flynn, Olga Islay, Anthony and Peter Musleve, Mildred Ransdell and Wesley Musleve. She was a member of Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and ceramics. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 11:00 am in Nativity Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd, Akron, OH 44312, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
