Obituary of Helen Vernice Chonka

Helen Chonka, 85, passed away on July 16, 2015. Born in Isabella, PA on May 17, 1930 to the late John & Verna Moncoveish, Helen had been a New Jersey resident before moving to Ohio in 2008. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert; daughters Carol Chonka and Denise Ayers; brother David Moncoveish; son-in-law Chris Culbertson. She is survived by her daughters Diane (Thomas) Velo of Cuyahoga Falls, Debra Culbertson of NJ, and Cheryl Pew of NJ; brother Peter Moncoveish of CA & Hope (Leonard) Hribar of Ravenna; sister-in-law Darlene Moncoveish; 15 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11 am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
