Obituary of John Fritz Hohl

John "Fritz" Hohl On Saturday June 20, 2015, in Naples, Fl. God called his faithful follower, Fritz, home to his eternal resting place, at age 83. Fritz was born and raised in Akron. He attend Zion Lutheran School and graduated from South High. He served in the US Navy and upon returning to Akron he went to work at BFGoodrich for 42 years. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Josephine Hohl and sister Jo Rabith. Fritz was a true family man, kind and patient. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Dee; his daughter Judy (Matt) Kalgreen and his sons; Mark (Carol), David, and Paul (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Tim, Steve (Kelsey), Dan, Erik (Porchia), Mark Jr., Taj (Amanda), Jonathan (Sarah), Ali (Dennis), and Jordan; 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters Eva Mueller and Dorothy Kortze. Please join us, on Saturday July 11, 2015 at 11 am, with a smile on your face to celebrate the wonderful man Fritz was, for visitation and a memorial service following at noon at St. John Lutheran Church, 550 E. Wilbeth Rd. Akron 44301. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in honor of Fritz, to Hope Lutheran Church, 25999 Old 41 Rd.
