Obituary of Michael Adams

Michael Adams Jr., 97, passed away June 26 at Chapel Hill Retirement Community. Michael was born in Star Junction, PA. He graduated from Garfield High School, and remained in Akron for over 90 years. Mike was a decorated Army veteran, serving during World War II. He retired in 1981 from Reiter Dairy with seventeen years service as a driver/salesman. Mike was a member of Family of Faith church. He was preceded in death by wife (of fifty-one years) Frances, and brothers Peter& John. Mike is survived by sisters Mary McDonald and Margaret Sirillo; children Dennis (Deborah), Christine (Gregory) Pisanelli, and James; grandchildren Lisa, Matthew, and Lauren; and great-grandson Andrew. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, July 1 from 4-7 PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
