Obituary of Kathleen P. Ayres

Kathleen Pearl Ayres, 92, passed away on June 13, 2015. She was born in Barberton to parents Arthur and Pearl Ayres on January 17, 1923. She retired from Goodyear Aerospace Plant of Engineering in 1985 with 33 years of dedicated service. Kathleen was an avid traveler and visited many places. She loved to take pictures and had hundreds of slides of all her travels. She loved her tomato plants and took great care of her flower and vegetable gardens. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Pearl Ayres in 1992 and Robert Witters, beloved cousin and former caregiver. She is survived by cousins Christine Ayres( England), Clare and Timothy Fuller (England), Robert and Olive Wooberry (England), Paul and Nicola Wooberry and their children Emma and Matthew (England), Gloria and Rick Forste (Cincinnati), and Lori and Jim Feathers (Vermillion). She is also survived by friends Joyce and Jacob Kamlowsky, Don and Mary White, David Culbertson, and Ron and Nancy Bekin. Her family and friends would like to give a special thank you to Pebble Creek for taking excellent care of Kathleen. Family and friends may call on Saturday June 20, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44301.
